Howard Meier brings over 35 years of real estate leadership, delivering value through market insight, strategic execution, and a consistent focus on ROI. With experience spanning Canada, the U.S., and international markets, Howard is known for identifying trends early and helping clients stay ahead of market shifts.
He has held senior brokerage and executive roles at major real estate service providers, earning top global sales awards and overseeing portfolios exceeding 8 million square feet. His track record includes repositioning underperforming assets, managing complex development projects, and executing major transactions such as the redevelopment sale of the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto, a $25 million lease and sale to Queen’s University, and structuring the sale-leaseback of a key downtown Toronto office tower.
Howard’s clients include institutions, REITs, developers, and private investors, such as Fieldgate Commercial, Bank of Montreal, H&R REIT, Empire Communities, Tribute, Davpart, TD Bank, and Sun Life. He has also worked extensively with religious organizations, educational institutions, and international capital groups.
In addition to brokerage, Howard is a trusted executive coach with The Massimo Group the worlds largest coaching company for commercial real estate, an associate with Mercana Growth Partners focused on distressed asset restructuring, and an adjunct professor at Conestoga College, where he develops and teaches real estate curriculum. He is a frequent advisor and active Board Member to boards and executives across North America. As well is an active member on the Toronto Real Estate Board Commercial Arbitration Roster.
